Jackie K is an innovative designer with a flair for fashion. She is 23 years old, she lives with her family in  Kansas.  Jackie's story is a remarkable one considering she was born with Cerebral Palsy. Through her schooling she acquired training in using switches to operate a sewing machine and has attained skills through her job coach to start her own business.Each one of a kind bag is made by Jackie with the help of her mother. She puts her special touch into everyone of them with attention to detail. The need for Jackie to create her own business came about when funding ended for her everyday necessities. The Dept. of Commerce for the State Of Kansas awarded Jackie "YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR" 2011 for the Minority and Women's Business.
Jackie will be presenting her business at the Virginia Transition Forum Conference in March.
